The Buffalo County Historical Society has been a great outlet for our local schools and interested persons alike researching or studying our local history! We are a great resource and repository for everything related to Buffalo County. Whether it is through out our Digital Learning section or through our various events, our goal is to express how our local history fits in the large historical narrative of Nebraska history and the rest of United States.

In an effort to help educators, students, and parents during these long absents of school because of the COVID - 19 outbreak, Trails & Rails is trying to help! These relatively short history lessons/assignments include a week-by-week topic and cover a wide timeline.
