Trails and
Rails Museum’s Hours:
*Memorial Day thru Labor Day:
Museum: Monday-Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and Sundays from 1-5 pm
Archives: Monday-Friday 1-4 pm
*Sept.-May:
Museum: Monday-Friday 1-5 pm
Archives: Mondays 1-4 pm
Genealogists are on
hand on Mondays from 1-4 p.m. or by appointment. Our dedicated
volunteers answer e-mail requests daily. Please let us know if
you have research questions!
Exceptions:
* Saturday, Dec. 1st through Sunday Dec. 9th - 20th Annual Christmas
Tree Walk, 1-5 pm each day with extended hours on Friday Dec. 7th from
1-7 pm

trees displayed in each building while enjoying refreshments and music.

Group tours are
encouraged to call and schedule a tour, everyone is welcome to join us
during these hours. If these hours do not work for you,
please call to set up an appointment.
Special Events:
The Trails
& Rails Museum hosts many
special events including the Annual "Wagons West Day" in June, a Christmas Tree Walk in
December,
Schools: School
groups are welcome.
The museum is open for
schools and special groups by appointment by calling the Museum Office at (308)
234-3041.
Contributions: A
part
of the funding for Trails & Rails Museum operations comes from the
Buffalo
County general fund. All other Museum expenses come from
contributions. All contributions are appreciated.

The Museum's Gift Shop includes many magazines and books for
sale. Bound volumes of Buffalo Tales (while they
last)
are
for sale.
Among other items for sale are t-shirts,
caps,
postcards, bells, whistles,
wooden kits
and lap quilts . While you are visiting the gift
shop,
