Union Pacific Depot

The Union Pacific Depot was built in 1898 along the tracks in Shelton, NE. It was the second depot in that spot and was moved to the Trails & Rails Museum in 1975.

Inside the Union Pacific Depot

The baggage room has been converted into an exhibit room showing the history of wagon, train and auto transportation in and through Buffalo County.

The Museum also houses rare photos, diaries, letters, and other archival records.
